Can Do It All !
The Purpose of AHFA
Provide a place for breeders to get together, view each other's horses and to be able to evaluate how they are doing with their own breeding programs.
Provide a way for people to get the education and information they need to take care of their own horses, do their own training, to enjoy what they do with their horses, whether it be trail riding, jumping, cattle work at home or in fun and friendly competition.
Provide a format to encourage people to ride their Arabians through the Arabian Challenge Futurity/Maturity and the Working Cow Horse jackpots, as well as participate in endurance rides, open shows, any event or endeavor that is open to all breeds of horses.
Provide a simple, humane and fair set of show rules for groups or individuals who want to put on Purebred Arabian shows in their areas that have nation wide recognition.
Visit the Owner's
Guide with advise on everything from purchasing your first horse to
preparing for your first show to marketing your horses to a guide of AHFA
Open Show Classes. The AHFA
Rules are published for all to see and read. AHFA has strict rules that protect the horses from drugs
and abuse, promotes transparency and accountability from its judges encouraging competitors to participate in AHFA events.
If your aim is to promote your foals and your horses in a performance oriented atmosphere with judging to a standard, as well as the opportunity to show your breeding stock to the world, then you need to check out the AHFA
Challenge Futurity/Maturity program.
This organization is not exclusive. AHFA is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. Members have an equal vote in the organization. The success of the program is dependent on the involvement of many people. We welcome everyone's involvement. You can volunteer to help here. There is so much to be done to keep our wonderful breed alive and prospering for the coming generations.
