FUN CLASSES SUGGESTED

Musical Chairs -- number of chairs for each contestant are placed in the arena. At the start of the music, two or more chairs (depending on number of contestants) are removed. When the music stops, all contestants must get to a chair, dismount and sit in chair. Continues until only one chair and 2 contestants are left. In event of two people attempting to sit in chair at same time, judges decision shall be final.

Crawl through the Barrel - Contestants line up on one end of the arena and gallop to the barrels, dismount, crawl through barrel, mount and gallop back to starting line. First one back wins.

Egg and Spoon Class

Dressage Trail - Any type of horse at any level is eligible. The test begins by entering at a trot over cavalletti poles on the way to X to halt. Next is a 20-meter circle to a mailbox, where the riders had to sort out the No. 10 envelope to show the judge. Other movements can include crossing a bridge and picking up an egg from a basket I held up, doing a 15-meter
circle with the reins in one hand, then returning the egg. Next stopping at hay bales, picking up a softball, walking to E, turning and throwing the ball at a cardboard figure next to the bales. The climaxing move might be to take the reins in one hand to wave the other hand at the judge.
